Sexy, Silky, Simone!

Okay maybe not the most original title, but hey, i'm running on empty at this point. This weekend I participated in the Simone! Supermodel competition, and made it past round one, so I figured I show you all what I wore. The dress is by Simone Stern of Simone! and is called Songbird in the color burgundy. I really love how its a mix of east and west, with the asian flowers and bird-like desings on one side. There are 2 versions of the top, one with straps as shown and a strapless. It's also only $200L, which is pretty darn awesome considering the quality of the dress, with its beautiful prim skirt that flows perfectly and not up your back when you walk. 4 other jewel-toned colors are available as well. See Simone here: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Simone/63/108/102/
If you're curious, the hair is from Calico and is called Amy, in the Midnight color, each color pack is $200L, or get all of them for $2000L. Try on some free demos: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Calico%20Kitty/147/125/37/ Read more!

What's been going on...

So my lovlies, I haven't been so attentive to my blog lately, but I have a good excuse, I swear! I'm working on a business with a friend that, once ready, will explain my absence. It has to do with fashion, of course, as well as some other aspects of life in SL. I'll give you more of an update in a couple days, but look for another fashion post tomorrow, I have something great to show you all!
Hugs n' stuff,

Oh Lucy!

When I was out shopping with some friends the other day, I came across a store called "Marlys" and saw a dress I had seen on another friend previously. One of my friends exclaimed "just like a I Love Lucy dress" or something to that effect. Well, I'm the sort of girl that gets everything in black, so I grabbed the black " Spanky's Spots" dress while my friends grabbed red and blue versions (also available in brown and green). The dress is $225L for a single one, or $700L for all 5 colors. I love the prim poof sleaves and prim belt/skirt. The whole store is retro styles, so yay! See it yourself: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Envy/150/119/22/

I knew I should grab a pair of shoes to match, so later on I brought my friends over to Shiny Things, and lo and behold, the new section contained the perfect pair of shoes to match my new dress. The "Tuxedo Pumps" in white (more of an off white/grey) were $300L and came with the black trim and a pair with white trim. Really thats 2 pairs. My only complaint would be that the black version of these shoes had no only one pair, not 2 for $300L and it would have been nice to have a black pair with white trim. See the other new shiny shoes here: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Shiny%20Falls/186/180/37/

I don't look like Lucy, but that's okay...I think I look better, dont you agree? ;-)
